Thanks to all you juveniles that have responded to my last post, it seems that in the future is bright for Australian (mainly Melbournian producers). As a result, I have got inspiration to do a post about some established and up and coming producers / DJs from Australia, I've had enough of the European and American superpowers taking over the blogs.

When I first heard one of G.L.O.V.E.S sets, I was utterly dissapointed, ever since that day I have seen him play over and over, and now I can see clearly why there is such big hype for this Damn Arms member. I was uber excited when I found this beauty of a remix in my inbox, I havn't really heard much of the Death Set's stuff before getting this. I must congratulate him for getting signed to Bang Gang 12 inches, and now he is doing some remixes for Modular

Also the two piece band Gloves features in, Damn Arms, has a new single up on their myspace soon to be released on "Cutters" (Cut Copy's record label) along with a Cut Copy mix, Gloves mix, Bang Gang re-edit & last but not least Kitsune's latest signing Ted & Francis will also be doing a remix. Check his myspace for the Van She remix, keep an eye and an ear out for future releases by this Melbourne guru. For all you Sydney people G.L.O.V.E.S. is playing at Pistols and Hearts on the 19th, in the next few days ill do a post about that night.

Next up are Sydney boys Teen Heat, I first got sent these remixes last month, during my blogging hiatus, I listened to the two tracks religiously, then slowly forgot about them. This morning on my way to work, I was falling asleep on the bus, then all of a sudden this brutally electro / death metal remix came on and woke me up. All of the people on the bus were looking at me like I was some sicko, because I rediscovered these brilliant tracks. If you enjoy the new style of SebastiAn, you will definately enjoy this remix. Over the past few weeks I have seen the guys play at Plantation and Candy's apartment, and they put on a great show. Check their myspace for future gigs, and stay tuned to deckhead for future releases.

Last but not least is Dorkatronique, his mission is to slowly take over Sydney, so be warned loyal readers. I would love to write something about him, but his BIO is very witty and definitely David Attenborough inspired, so ill post that, and trust me download the tunes, they speak for themselves!
