Without a doubt, the best two international DJs I have seen this year are DJ Craze & A-Trak, both had their own style, performance technique and presence, the thing that impressed me most about their performance was their scratching ability. They also have both one the DMC world championships for scratching, A-Trak won it when he was 15 which is amazing in itself and DJ Craze is the only solo DJ to win the World DMC Champion trophy 3 times in a row, as well as teaming up and winning it. A-Trak has recently released his Say Whoa EP on the prestigious French record label Kitsune, with official remixes by Boys Noize & Sinden. Dj Craze has but his own little spin on the track, it is a much more subtle remix to the ones that are on the EP, and I must admit it is my favorite of the lot of them.

A few blog posts ago, I posted a track by Redial who is Sydney's new favorite electro banging producer, it featured vocals by Smacktown. I remember seeing Redial drop this track at We Love Sounds, and the Smacktown boys sung their vocals over it, throughout the day I never saw more passion and intensity in a performance, and the crowd just went mental, there was a moshpit, crowd surfing, it was amazing. Something that I used to get annoyed about, is the fact that there were so many good DJ/MC combinations throughout the world. All we had was stupid house/mashup/ministry of sound DJs with some gelled up fruitloop "singing" over the top. Smacktown has helped to change this trend in Sydney, with their hard electro beats with MCing over the top, it is quite the experience, especially considering their huge following.
